Research collaboration

Discuss an AVATAR research collaboration.

For clinicians, research institutions and industry partners interested in investigational, mutation-informed biological discovery for solid tumours.

How collaborations work

Scoped together, governed from the start

  1. 1

    Initial enquiry

Tell us your organisation, role and research question. Patient data and genomic files are exchanged later, through a secure channel.

  2. 2

    Scoping discussion

Define the question, data inputs, deliverables, roles, governance and timelines together.

  3. 3

    Confidentiality and data governance

A secure channel and the appropriate confidentiality, data-access and consent arrangements are put in place before any sensitive information is exchanged.

  4. 4

    Ethics and approvals

Where applicable, ethics committee approval and an approved protocol govern participation, sample use, consent and eligibility.

  5. 5

    Study conduct and reporting

Work proceeds under the agreed protocol, and publication terms are agreed in advance.

Start the conversation

Before you write: Please do not share confidential project files, patient data or genomic data here. A confidentiality process and secure channel come first.
