AVATAR evidence
Read the genome. Then test the biology.
Four kinds of evidence
From sequence to living model to plan
- 01
Molecular evidence
The OnKommon Interpreter reads the whole exome and identifies the drivers that define this tumour.
- 02
Living-model evidence
Those drivers are engineered into a fruit-fly model — the tumour's biology, carried into a living system.
- 03
Experimental evidence
Candidate drugs and combinations are screened against the model under defined conditions, in replicate.
- 04
An investigational plan
Molecular and experimental evidence are integrated into one report, finalised and signed by the treating oncologist.
Evidence classes
Every output carries its evidence class
- Computational observation
Produced by analysis of sequencing data and curated evidence.
- Experimental model observation
Recorded in the engineered Drosophila model under experimental conditions.
- Investigational candidate
A candidate or mechanism carried forward into the investigational plan.
- Validated finding
A finding supported by documented validation and established evidence.
- For oncologist assessment
Weighed by the treating oncologist alongside the full clinical picture before any decision.
The model
A living system, built from this tumour
- Drivers
- The tumour's selected driver alterations are engineered into the model.
- Biology
- The model reproduces how those drivers behave in a living tissue.
- Screening
- Candidates, doses and endpoints are defined for each study and measured in replicate.
- Integration
- Every observation is labelled by evidence class and joined with the molecular picture.
